Ruhr West Uygulamalı Bilimler Üniversitesi (Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences), Almanya'nın Essen şehrinde yer alan devlet bir yükseköğretim kurumudur. State (public) university of applied sciences (Hochschule/Fachhochschule) founded on 1 May 2009. Two campuses: Mülheim an der Ruhr (main) and Bottrop, in North Rhine-Westphalia (NOT Essen). Engineering-oriented focus: computer science, engineering, mathematics, natural sciences and economics, with Bachelor's and Master's programmes. Around 5,000-5,600 students; emphasis on practice-oriented education and regional industry partnerships.

Almanca eğitim veren programlar için genellikle C1 seviyesinde Almanca (DSH/TestDaF) ve uygun bir not ortalaması; İngilizce programlar için IELTS/TOEFL ve ilgili alandan diploma istenir. Uluslararası başvurular çoğunlukla uni-assist üzerinden yapılır. Almancası yeterli olmayan öğrenciler için hazırlık/dil programları mevcuttur. Kesin koşullar programdan programa değişir.
